Some things to think about

A dear family friend (my "kind of cousin"), David Wright, died suddenly on Wednesday. He was only 28, and left behind a beautiful wife, daughter and baby on the way. It makes you stop, reevaluate, and remember what's really important. Sunday, was his viewing, and today was the funeral. The funeral was a beautiful tribute to him, and the families involved. They had wonderful quotes that were displayed, I wrote down some:
"And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count.
It's the life in your years." - Abraham Lincoln

"Faith in God includes faith in His timing, faith in His purposes as well as in His timing. We cannot fully accept Him while rejecting His schedule. We cannot worship Him but insist on our plans." - Neal A. Maxwell.

"In the gosple of Jesus Christ, we have help from both sides of the viel. When disappointment and discouragement strike and they will we need to remember that if our eyes could be opened, we would see horses and chariots of fire as far as they eye can see, riding at great speed to come to our protection. They will always be there, these armies of heaven." - Jeffrey R. Holland

We all go through trials, of varying degrees at different times in our lives. I pray that we may remember that if we "search diligently, pray always, and be believing than all things shall work together for our good...." (D&C 90:24)

My thoughts and prayers are with my "uncle" Rex and "aunt" Marilyn and my "Wright cousins." (they are our "kind of" family, since my dad is an only child, his friends were our adopted relatives). I've been in and out of tears all day. Sometimes things just don't make sense. Hopefully someday it will. Just like our move to Idaho. I just don't understand why. We received an offer on our home, and I believe we will accept it. This trial is definately not what I asked for. Definately not on my "schedule," but I will go and do.... and some how this craziness will all "work out for our good." Loves to all of you...
